Svea Hill Church, Service of Lessons and Carols  7:00 PM 16392 235th Ave NW, Big Lake, MN 55309
 Viking Choir

There is NO bus service. Parents need to transport their boys to Svea Hill Church.

5:45 PM

Viking Choirboys report to Svea Hill Church ln concert uniform wearing Choir jacket, scarf, hat and carrying black shoes.     

7.00 p.m.

Program of Lessons and carols begins. Parents are encouraged to attend.

8:00 p.m.

CD sales. Reception.                                      

8:30 p.m.

Boys are free to go home                                            

Saturday, December 9, 2023  
Viking (rehearsal only), Cadet and Music Magic
Hayden Grove Senior Living 2601 NE Stinson Parkway, St. Anthony 

9:00 AM 

Viking Choir rehearsal as usual but rehearsal ends at 12 noon.  

1:00 PM

Music Magic and Cadet Choirs arrive at CCC (Christ’s Community Church) dressed in their Choir Uniform.  Wear a warm jacket and hat.  

1:15 PM

Warm-up rehearsal.

1:45 p.m.

Depart for Hayden Grove Senior Living  (Parent Transport) 

3.00 p.m.

Choir appearance begins.  Music Magic begins, followed by Cadet Choir. At the end of the concert the boys will mingle with the residents, shake hands and wish them a “Merry Christmas."

3.45 p.m.

Choirboys and parents may leave.

Special note for the Music Magic and Cadet boys:

Cadet and Music Magic arrive with parents or by carpool in concert uniform: polo shirt tucked in, uniform khaki pants, black belt, black dress shoes, and black socks. Please make sure hair is neatly trimmed off the neck and ears and combed.

Sunday December 10, 2023 
Viking Choir  A “Collaborative Holiday Concert “  Champlin Park High School, 6025 109th Ave N, Champlin, MN 55316

A shared concert starring the North Star Boys’ Choir, the North Suburban Christmas Chorale and the North Suburban Concert Band

2.30 p.m.

Viking Choir meets at Champlin Park High School (Parent Transport) Choirboys wear Concert uniform, carrying black shoes, dressed in Choir jacket, scarf and hat.

4.00 p.m.

Concert begins with the Viking Choir.

5.45 p.m.

Concert ends. CD sales.

Saturday, December 16, 2023 3:00PM
Viking (rehearsal only), Cadet and Music Magic
Guardian Oaks, 350 Evans Ave NW, Elk River

 

9.00 a.m.

Viking Choir Rehearsal as usual but rehearsal ends at  12 noon. 

2.15 p.m.

Music Magic and Cadet Choirboys meet at Guardian Oaks, Elk River dressed in their Choir Uniform.  Wear a warm jacket and hat. (Parent Transport)

2.25 p.m. 

Warm-up rehearsal.

3.00 p.m.

ALL CHOIRS

All Choirs’ Christmas Concert Location St. Raphael’s Church 7301 Bass Lake Road, Crystal, MN

1:30 p.m.

All Choirs to report to The Church of St. Raphael.

Music Magic and Cadet must wear the choir navy blue polo shirt, khaki pants, and black shoes.

Kantorei to wear white shirt (with collar), black pants and black shoes. NSBC ties will be provided.

Viking Choir to wear Travel Uniform, carry Concert Uniform and black shoes.

3.00 p.m. 

North Star Boys Choir “All Choirs Christmas Concert” begins.

4.30 p.m.

Reception. CD sales

5:00 PM

Boys and families may leave when they wish.

5.30 p.m.

North Star Boys’ Choir and parents leave the church.

Tuesday, December 19  
All Choirs

5:30 p.m.        All Choir Christmas Party

Please bring a gift no more than $10 to share in the gift exchange. All gifts should be wrapped. Sloppy joes will be provided and parents are asked to bring party chips, dessert and light colored juice to drink. Parent volunteer help is needed.
