Supervision: We need parents who willing to stay and help supervise our boys during sectionals on Saturday morning. The boys are not able to play outside unsupervised as per our liability insurance.  Please let Francis know when you are able to take a Saturday morning and help our boys.

 

Jacket Orders: Right now is the time to order a choir jacket if your boys needs one. Jackets are $68 and are available in Youth Small, Medium Large, and Adult Small, Medium Large and XLarge. I do NOT have any used jackets in stock right now. Parents, if your son has outgrown his current jacket, please consider bringing it in for swap/used sale. Please preorder and pay here. This order will be submitted no later than October 14 and will be the only time I submit an order for choir jackets.

 

Calendar of Events: Every week the calendar of events will be updated and sent as an attachment to this email/letter. You can also find it on the parent page of the website. Please check it weekly for updates and additions. If you have any questions, please contact Staff@northstarboyschoir.org.

 

Voice Lessons: Remember, each Cadet and Viking boy is entitled to a free half hour voice lesson with Francis each month.  Please click here to sign up for lessons.  Viking boys, this is particularly important as individual lessons is what helps the Viking choir achieve its beautiful, unique sound.

Francis is available on Tuesdays from 4:10-4:40, Fridays from 5:00-5:30 and 5:30-6:00, and 12:30-1:00 on Saturdays (during the lunch break at Saturday rehearsals).

 

Tuition:  Your regular monthly tuition payments are vital for the survival of our choir program. Please remember to pay your tuition each month when the monthly statements come out. If you have any questions, please email Paul at paul@northstarboyschoir.org.  Or call him at 763-441-4267

It is very important, now more than ever, to make your tuition payment on time each month.  Please make sure your payments are made so we can have the funds to operate our organization.

 

We are looking for concert venues. If you have any contacts with your place of worship or have friends who attend a church please let us know so we can reach out to them. We are also looking for contacts for our summer tour. Right now, any connections anywhere in the United States would be helpful for us in our planning.

 

Pearson Family Farm:  Start making plans to invite choir-aged friends and family to join us on our annual choir fall festival at the Pearson Family Farm! Saturday, October 19. There is more information on the calendar of events.   

 

Marketing:  The best way to market our program is by word of mouth.  Please share the news of the North Star Boys Choir with your friends, school mates, work colleagues, fellow church members, and anyone you just happen to meet.  This summer Paul and I happened to get into a conversation with a couple at an Andover Farmer’s market. They were very impressed with our program.  Please share the news! If your church or place of worship is looking for a choir to enhance their service, or wish to host our boys for a concert, please let us know so we can make arrangements.
