Dear Parents,

September and October invoices have been sent out. Please get your monthly tuition payments into the choir as quickly as possible. Your prompt payment is vital to the operation of our program.

*Cadet and Viking boys, remember that voice lessons are required once a month for Cadet and Viking boys. To make it easier, we will now have a sign-up sheet on the tables at choir. Voice lessons are the key to allowing each boy to sing his best. Please do not forget to sign up. They are included in your tuition.
*Viking parents: Please remember the Viking choir has its first performance on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Fort Snelling. This is required attendance for all Viking boys, especially since the choir is so small. Choir supporter Dr. John Wahlstrom will be hosting the boys and parents at a Japanese restaurant following the service. He would like to know how many parents plan to attend this wonderful meal. Please RSVP staff@northstarboyschoir.org by October. We will already count the ten boys, so please let us know the number of any additional family members who would like to attend the Fort Snelling service and meal. There is no bus service available, so the boys will need to carpool or ride with their parents.
*Fall Festival Don’t forget about our upcoming fall festival Saturday, October 21.
This festival is for the Cadet, Viking and Kantorei Choirs and friends ages 8-12 years. All boys are to report to Christ Community Church, 13250 93rd Ave. N, Maple Grove, MN wearing a choir T-Shirt (choir T-Shirts will be provided for the new boys), with $5 for admission fee, some pocket money for concessions, and a sack lunch.
9:00 a.m. Viking Choir practice at CCC as usual.
11:00 a.m. Bus departs for Pearson Family Farm. 9241 100th Ave SE Clear Lake, MN 55319
4:00 p.m. Bus arrives back at CCC. Parents pick up their boys.
*Remember registration is still open, so please invite your friends to join.
*Please introduce yourself to new families and parents to help them feel welcome.
* Please start planning for Give to the Max Day, November 14. If your workplace matches donations, please let them know of our participation in Give to the Max.
*All tuition related questions can be directed to Paul at paul@northstarboyschoir.org.
*Uniforms If you need a new polo shirt, I have them available for purchase online from the parent page. https://www.northstarboyschoirmn.org/shop.
*Viking and Kantorei: ideas and general direction of the summer, 2024 tour. We are looking at heading east coast. Please submit any connections you have in areas of Atlanta, Georgia, Carolinas, up to about Washington, DC. If you have any contacts in that general area, please let us know at staff@northstarboyschoir.org.
